Like many other Countries, most of the travel restrictions in Peru are no longer active. In particular, on October 26, 2022 the Government repealed the Supreme Decree declaring a State of National Emergency due to the COVID-19 pandemic. However, Peru travel restrictions may change with very little notice according to the epidemiological situation.

1. Peru covid entry requirements
On October 26th 2022 the Government repealed the Supreme Decree n. 016-2022-PCM declaring a State of National Emergency due to the COVID-19 pandemic. As a consequence most Covid-19 restrictions have been lifted. For what concerns entry, travellers are not subjected to any restriction, providing they comply with national immigration requirements.
2. Peru covid test and vaccination
In Peru travellers are no longer required to submit neither a negative covid test nor a vaccination certificate upon entry. However, the Government continues to monitor the health emergency and may apply additional measures if necessary.
3. Quarantine restrictions in Peru
Following the repeal of Supreme Decree n. 016-2022-PCM, the quarantine requirement upon entry has been removed, even for air travellers. However, according to the covid epidemiological situation, the Government may introduce new quarantine requirements.
4. Peru mask requirements
Mandatory face masks are no longer required in Peru. However, new face mask rules may be implemented if necessary.
5. Social distancing
There is no mandatory interpersonal distance to be kept in Peru, however the Government recommends to keep a proper distance from other people.
