The Risk Assessment Online Software, available on a dedicated platform of Studio A&P, allows the company to implement the business procedures for every single business route, following the company’s Travel Security Policy.
The software is based on 8 reliable foreign government sources to create some interactive risk maps which allow the company to geolocate their site and assess the specific level of risk in the selected area.
According to the software’s health and safety risk assessment, the company can implement the more appropriate procedure quickly and adopt precautionary measures with the help of geopolitical reports drawn up from 8 authoritative foreign government sources.

Health and Safety Risk Assessment with A&P online platform
For any company planning on carrying business travels abroad, assessing risks for their workers is an imperative step.

Protocol
The Protocol is a way for a company to protect itself and to be guided in the steps required to carry a business travel, be it for a long or short period of time. It outlines every stage to be followed and every action to be taken by the company management (from the study of the internal corporate context to the identification of required vaccination or currency and customs regulations). The Protocol also includes a contacts set up between your company and your posted workers, and a phase of after travel review.
Moreover, the protocol highlights the importance of being able make use of a specific software who will manage the situation in the Country of destination, and ease any possible reviews even after some time, taking into account employees’ feedbacks, changes to local conditions and innovations to the safety field.
The protocol is therefore an important initial step to prove your commitment to your employee’s wellbeing, and builds a legal base to the Risk Assessment process.
Following the Protocol, which will be written with Studio A&P’s support, will ensure the company’s compliance with ISO 31030 guidelines.
ISO 31030
The International Organization for Standardization has drafted the UNI ISO 31030, a unique reference for ensuring safety while business travel abroad.
This document is an internationally recognized guide for risk management, concerning security, protection and health, and is therefore a fundamental guide for companies’ Risk Assessment process.
Studio A&P services, created after long deliberations of its legal team, are in full compliance with its directions, both in the institution of the Protocol and in all the other services.
In addition, if requested, Studio A&P can assist you in the drafting of the special section of Model 231 Travel Security: this is aimed at identifying the processes that your company must introduce within its corporate procedures with the purpose of protecting the posted employee.
Contacts set up
The contacts set-up phase is essential to ensure that communications between your company and its employees run smoothly, so all parties involved can be promptly informed, in case of possible risks to the worker, of possible emergencies.
In this section we will provide contacts of Italian diplomatic representations in foreign territory, as well as foreign representations in Italian territory. In addition, you will be asked to identify a contact person both in the country of the trip and in Italy. Part of the communications set-up is the registration into the portal of Farnesina Dovesiamonelmondo.
This registration is strongly recommended by the Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs for trips outside of the national territory, especially for work reasons. After acquiring the company’s, the head of safety’s and the posted workers’ data, Studio A&P will take care of this registration.
Vaccination booking
Studio A&P’s software is able to trigger an alert whenever a mandatory vaccination is present. It will also report any recommended vaccinations if, according to CDC (a body of the US Ministry of Health, an internationally recognized authority) they will be more than 10 (considering the routine vaccinations, normally carried out from childhood, and travel vaccinations).
Studio A&P can then provide, if requested, all the information on vaccines, in order to guide you into the vaccination process required to get the necessary vaccination certificate.
MOG 231
The Organization and Management Model, in accordance with Legislative Decree 231/2001, is a document that describes a series of company procedures for ensuring the safety of workers during all the tasks expected in the performance of their work.
The adoption of a Model 231 also requires the Company to appoint an ODV (Supervisory Body), tasked with verifying the efficiency of the Model and its effective application.
Responsibilities of Italian Companies related to the working activity abroad
If an accident occurs abroad, the Italian Supreme Court of Cassation has recently confirmed the property and criminal liability of the managers, but even of the company (Legislative Decree 231/2001).
The Italian criminal jurisdiction becomes applicable due to the mere fact that training and information of the employee have been carried out at the Italian company’s premises.

Over the last few years companies have often adopted an Organisational and Management Model pursuant to the Legislative Decree 231/2001, the so-called MOG 231.
What is the MOG 231?
The MOG 231 is an organisational and management model with internal rules and procedures that aim for the company to minimize the probability of committing crimes which involve the top managers of the company and the persons dealing with safety inside the company.
A criminal and property liability can result from such crimes.
