From October 20, 2022, the Government of Spain decided to reduce entry requirements in Spain on national level, as the acute phase of the pandemic had come to an end. Reducing control measures and regulations previously in force in the Country was possible due to the high levels of immunisation achieved in the population and neighbouring countries, which led to a significant decrease in severe cases and lethality of SARS-CoVID-19 infection.

1. Entry requirements in Spain and transit conditions
Considering the evolution of the pandemic globally and the epidemiological situation, no sanitary monitoring measures are currently in force for persons coming from European countries in Spain. Please note that there are no restrictions for travellers arriving from non-European or Schengen associated countries.
2. Face masks and social distancing
Some regulations on social distancing and mask use have now been provided by the Competent Authorities in order to protect vulnerable individuals and the spread of the virus, in particular in public areas.
3. Fulfilments for travellers to enter Spain
With the current pandemic situation, there are no fulfilments for travellers to enter or transit in Spain.
