Do I need the housing suitability certificate if I’m staying at a hotel?
If the residence permit applicant is staying at a serviced accommodation (i.e. hotel or serviced apartment), the certificate can be replaced by a confirmation of the hotel reservation.
Do I need the housing suitability certificate to sign the residence contract?
The housing suitability certificate is usually needed for the signature of the residence contract, also in cases of extra quota permits, such as the blue card, the intracompany transfer visa and other extra quota permits.
