Regulation 883/2004/EC and Regulation 987/2009/EC​

Regulation 883/2004/EC establishes the basis for social security in the European Union, guaranteeing employees and self-employed workers the possibility of remaining subject to the social security system of their country of residence even when working abroad.

Our firm supports companies in complying with the requirements of Regulation 883/2004, ensuring social security compliance for employees and self-employed workers posted abroad.

Our service includes:

  • Document analysis and preliminary assessment of the posting company and posted workers.
  • Verification of compliance and regularity of payment of social security contributions.
  • Consultancy on the most suitable type of A1 Certificate to request in case of activities abroad.
  • Additional support via calls and direct contact with A&P consultants.

Assistance Workflow

  • A&P support is provided remotely. 
  • Requests can be handled by our consultants via e-mail or through our Atlasposting platform.
  • By using Atlasposting platform, customers have access to a digital tool that supports the management and analysis of the assignment, as well as any additional requirements that may arise during the course of the project.
  • A&P contacts the customer within one working day of receiving the assistance request and provides a tailored quotation. Within one working day of quotation acceptance, A&P sends a list of the documentation required to begin the procedure. Once we receive the documentation, Studio A&P requests the A1 Certificate via the social security institute portal within one working day.
  • Consultancy service available in Italian and English.​

Bilateral Agreements on Social Security​

Bilateral agreements between EU and non-EU Countries allow workers to remain subject to the social security system of their country of residence even when working abroad.
