Setting Up Parameters
To ensure a thorough Risk Assessment, it is necessary to define acceptable risk levels and identify those that indicate a potential risk situation.
During this process, you can either rely on the parameters suggested by the firm or customise the parameters freely during the setup phase.
Specifically, you can choose to be notified based on the following parameters:
- Mandatory vaccinations
- Recommended vaccinations
- Index of Freedom: you can choose the threshold for notifications. The standard set by the firm is 6.82, based on the global average.
- Risk Map Algorithm Level: by consolidating information from six government sources (United States, United Kingdom, France, Japan, the Netherlands, and Australia), the firm’s algorithm assigns a risk level to the country on a scale from A to D, with D indicating maximum risk.
- Individual Risk Maps: you are able to choose to be notified if a certain number of maps exceed risk level C.
- Nature of Risk: if you want to learn why travel to a specific area is discouraged.
- Natural Disasters: possibility of notification in presence of meteorological events in the area of interest.
- Pollution: if pollution levels are excessively high.
- Temperature: if the temperature difference between Home Country and Host Country is substantial.
Nation and Client Risk Monitoring and Notification
During the trip, the company can monitor the risk level through a dedicated table summarizing active alerts for the trip in question.
In the event of changes, the company contact can be notified to take necessary actions to safeguard the employee.
Our consultants will also be notified when thresholds are exceeded to ensure comprehensive risk monitoring.
