Fondazione Marco Biagi in Modena is hosting an important seminar on transnational mobility of workers on Friday, 1st of March.
Studio A&P contributed to the organization of the seminar “Transnational worker mobility: the regulatory framework regarding the discipline and management of employment relationships” and will also intervene during the event with an in-depth analysis of the Directive 2014/67, with some EU countries as case studies.
Program of the seminar, available online and in presence
The seminar will be held on Friday 1st March from 9.30 to 13.00, available online and in person at the headquarters of the Marco Biagi Foundation in Modena (Largo Marco Biagi 10, Modena).
The aim of the event is to provide an overview of the applicable legislation in cases of transnational posting and cross-border work, as well as other options of transnational worker mobility.
The event is divided into:
- First part: dedicated to sessions of national and international university professors and representatives of European and national institutions;
- Second part: round table with representatives of companies and associations.
International guests at the event
In particular, we note the presence of Professor Catherine Barnard from the University of Cambridge, the DG Employment, Social Affairs and Inclusion Officer Carita Rammus, from the European Commission and Mariagrazia Lombardi, National Labor Inspectorate Officer and ELA (European Labor Authority) Consultant.
Professor Barnard, who teaches European labor law, will speak to explore the impact of Brexit on the regulation of transnational worker mobility.
Carita Rammus will discuss the future of the transnational posting directive and the role of the European Commission.
Mariagrazia Lombardi, in this context, will illustrate the role of the European Labor Authority.
