On November 8, 2024, the EU Posted Workers Alliance conference was held in Prague, focusing on the legal and practical aspects of posting workers in European Union countries, with Studio A&P also participating.
The event, organized by Havel & Partners, provided an opportunity to delve into regulatory obligations within the framework of the free movement of services in the EU.
The conference topics
The conference explored the following topics:
- The cross-border provision of services under the EU Directives framework;
- Implications of posting in terms of taxation and updates on the A1 Certificate;
- Compliance with relevant regulations regarding working conditions, international taxation, immigration, salary, and health & safety.
The second part of the meeting focused on the requirements related to posting in specific EU areas, such as Austria, Germany, Poland, Croatia, Italy, Greece, Romania, Finland, Sweden, France, Belgium, Latvia, and many others. During this phase, experts from various countries provided insights for discussion based on their experience in the field.
