As of 1 January 2022, the hourly rate of the statutory minimum wage in France (SMIC) has been set at €10.57, with an increase of 0.9%.

The remuneration of posted employees may in no case be lower than this amount; however, it is important to remind that, under the provisions introduced by Directive 957/2018, an alignment with the economic conditions of the equivalent applicable collective agreement must still be made.
