Alessandro Arletti, founder of Studio A&P, was a guest on Story Time, broadcast by Radio Canale Italia Emilia Romagna, to present the firm’s activities and, in particular, its services relating to the secondment of workers and assignments abroad.
Topics covered during the speech
During the interview with Story Time, Dr. Arletti presented the firm’s mission, which is to support local SMEs (and others) in sending their employees abroad.
Short- and long-term assignments in foreign countries entail a series of administrative, immigration, labor law, and tax obligations and requirements, which are handled by the various teams at Studio Arletti & Partners.
Regulations on secondment
Speaking about compliance and regulations on posting workers abroad, Dr. Arletti emphasized the importance of complying with Directive 96/71/EU, drafted by Prof. Marco Biagi. This is a directive whose provisions on combating social dumping are still often ignored by companies.
In this regard, the European Union has established the ELA (European Labor Authority), a body responsible for monitoring and safeguarding the rights of posted workers.
Immigration in Italy: professionals and retirees
Another topic discussed was the Digital Nomad Visa, recently introduced in Italy. This visa allows digital workers to move to our country and work remotely as freelancers or employees of foreign companies.
In addition to professionals, many foreign retirees also decide to move to Italy to enjoy the Italian lifestyle and significant tax breaks.
Investing in Italy and abroad
Many companies are also deciding to invest in Italy by opening branches in our country. In this sense, Italy can be seen as an important gateway to the European market.
Studio A&P not only supports foreign companies in opening branches in Italy, but also offers immigration and tax advice to Italian companies that decide to consolidate their presence abroad by transferring staff on a permanent basis.
We remind you that Alessandro Arletti’s interview on Story Time can be listened to again via streaming on the official website of Radio Canale Italia Emilia Romagna until midnight today, July 17.
