Eligible UK visa applicants can access the Super Priority Service through the “UK Immigration: ID Check” app, where the option is offered during their online application. This can help applicants planning a move to the United Kingdom for work or study.
Which applications are eligible?
For applications submitted within the UK, routes eligible for Super Priority through the app include Skilled Worker, Health and Care Worker, several Global Business Mobility categories, Global Talent and Student, among others. Access depends on the application type, the identity verification method and service availability. Eligibility for dependants may differ from that of the main applicant.
How much does it cost and how long does it take?
The service costs an additional £1,000, on top of the application fee. Applicants will usually receive a decision by the end of the next working day after their identity appointment or completion of document uploads through the app. If these steps take place on a weekend or bank holiday, the usual timeframe is two working days. Additional checks may delay the decision.
Applicants applying from outside the UK should check availability during their online application or with the relevant visa application centre.
