From 23 April 2026, the UK Electronic Travel Authorisation (ETA) requirement will also apply to Jersey, Guernsey and the Isle of Man,the Crown Dependencies, for eligible non-visa nationals travelling directly from outside the Common Travel Area.
Furthermore, as anticipated with a previous announcement, its cost has increased. It currently costs £20 and is generally valid for multiple journeys over two years, or until the passport linked to the application expires, whichever comes first.
Travellers should therefore check their eligibility in advance and submit the application before departure.
