Like many other Countries, Argentina has lifted most Covid-19 restrictions. However, travellers still have to comply with a few important measures in the Country. The Government also recommends to maintain proper and frequent hand hygiene to protect themselves.

1. Travel restrictions in Argentina
Due to the improvement of the epidemiological situation there are no longer COVID-19 entry restrictions in Argentina. In fact, Argentina’s borders are open to all travellers, providing they comply with immigration requirements.
2. Covid-19 test
In Argentina, a negative Covid-19 test is no longer required for travellers upon entry. However, the Government recommends to continue to follow the vaccination plan to protect themselves. In addition, testing requirements may change with very little notice.
3. Quarantine requirements
Like many other covid requirements, quarantine upon entry has also been removed. However, in the single provinces of Argentina different quarantine rules may be implemented.
4. Face mask rules
The obligation of wearing a protective mask has also been removed in Argentina. However, the use of face masks is still recommended in the Country. In addition, new face mask rules may be implemented if necessary.
5. Lockdown restrictions in Argentina
A full vaccination certificate is required to take part in activities considered dangerous by the Government of Argentina, including many recreational activities. It is therefore necessary that travellers undergo a full covid vaccine course before departure, in order to participate in many activities in the Country.
