The Note n. 290 of the National Labour Inspectorate, published on the 12th of January 2018, clarifies the conditions of posting and transfer of apprentices. According to Note n. 290, an apprentice can be posted if the following conditions are met:
1) the employer is effectively interested in posting him and if the possibility of posting is contemplated in the apprentice’s individual training program.
2) the posting of an apprentice is possible where the employer provides the apprentice with the support of a tutor, including a tutor working in another office (or country).
3) The tutor is entitled to monitor and ensure the equivalence between the professional training programs in both home and host countries.
